Clowns Nursery ran Wellbeing Week for all the children from Monday 7th – Friday 11th February.
Children were involved in a range of different activities to learn and support their wellbeing. including mindful moments, team-building PE activities, talked about their feelings and enjoying relaxing music sessions and yoga.
We were proud to support the Now and Beyond Charity and on Wednesday 9th February, children that attended our rising 4 classes in the morning will join the Wellbeing Festival. This will run in partnership with the TES and involved exciting workshops including ones on gratitude and kindness. Staff and children in those classes also wore their t-shirt or jumper inside out for the day to show how someone looks on the outside does not necessarily reflect how they are truly feeling on the inside and to remember to be kind always.
All children were invited to come to nursery on Friday 11th February wearing clothes that make them happy 🙂
The children and staffed really enjoyed this fun-filled week delivering a vital message about the importance of looking after mental health and wellbeing.
